Record a voice memory

This is the most important thing you can do here: speak a memory out loud and keep it forever. Here is exactly how, one step at a time.

 6 easy steps · about 3 minutes
1

Tap the red Record button

You’ll see it near the bottom of the screen on every page. Give it a tap.

2

Choose “Voice”

A small window opens. Tap Voice (it’s already selected for you). This records just your voice — no camera.

3

Tap the microphone to start

Tap the big round red microphone. When you see the moving lines, it is listening.

Tip: It’s okay to pause or say “um.” Speak like you’re talking to a grandchild. There is no wrong way.
4

Tell your story

Just talk. Share a memory, a piece of advice, or how your day went. Take all the time you need.

5

Tap stop when finished

Tap the same button to stop. You can listen back to make sure you like it.

6

Save it

Give it a short title if you like (for example, “The house I grew up in”), then tap Save. Done — it’s kept safely on your timeline.

Tip: You can’t break anything. If you don’t like a recording, just delete it and try again.

You can’t break anything. Take your time, and try things as many times as you like. If a recording isn’t right, just delete it and start again.

Nicely done.

You’re ready. The best next step is simply to try it yourself.
